Kirk Brant was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1969. He is a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Tyendinaga Territory. Kirk's education includes Graphic Design from Algonquin College, Ottawa in 1992 and Multimedia – Desktop Publishing at Toronto Image Works, Toronto, 1998.
